The Teacher’s Day celebration began with a photo session followed by the Holy Mass by Rev. Fr. Hermil D’ Souza. During the sermon he reminded the teachers of their duty and vocation as educators. The inspiring words of Fr. Hermil invigorated the teachers.
After the Mass the children welcomed the teachers with a floral tribute and after a brief introduction by the School captain Olivia Dessa and Ms. Payel Dasgupta. It was followed by a cultural show. The student’s council had done a marvellous job in pulling together resources from all classes ranging from Nursery to XII. The best part of the performance was by the tiny tots, apart from their exuberance, the way they had been trained at school by the senior students.

The entire cultural programme was comprised of dance, group recitation, choral singing and a skit. The teachers heaved with delight as they witnessed the love and respect that their pupils bore for them. After the teachers received gifts from the children, Ms. Sharmila Biswas, the senior co-coordinator, gave the vote of thanks. She thanked all the students for their enormous effort in putting up such a gala show. She also extended her gratitude to the School Management for celebrating this day with such warmth and grandeur.
