On 26^th April 2018, Auxilium Convent School New Chumta celebrated the feast of Mother General Rev. Mother Yvonne Reungoat with love and gratitude. The program started with prayer experience animated by the students of class IX. It began   at 9:00 am by lighting of candles by Sr. Superior, Sr.Principal, coordinators and school captains. During the prayer moment, all offered their thanksgiving to God for the precious gift of our beloved Mother General and implored His manifold blessings upon her in order to fulfill His mission of love, joy and hope among the young.

It was followed by an introduction read by Kiran Kumari of class IX highlighting the theme of the day “With the young, let the chords of life vibrate, witnessing to the joy of following Christ”.  In her speech, Sr. Superior conveyed the message given by Mother General herself in Barasat to the young people at the youth fest this year:  “Love is source of all joy and joy is contagious”, therefore everyone must encounter each other with love and affection.  At the end, all dispersed with the thought of love and gratitude.
