On 7^th & 8^th April 2019 is marked as a red letter day for the community of Auxilium – Najafgarh with the arrival of Sr. Lucy Rose Ozhukayil, the visiting General Councillor and her secretary Sr. Veronica Kamei.   They were warmly welcomed in our midst with songs and words of love and offered bouquet of flowers and garlanded them. Later on all proceeded to the chapel to Thank God and receiving His blessings.  It was a special moment when the community members received the lighted candles from Sr. Lucy Rose symbolizing the light of Christ which is to be carried and shared in our mission. The evening prayer animated by Sr. Elizabeth Joseph focused on God’s goodness and mercy. Being a unique occasion we had the company of the Salesian Family with us for the dinner.

On 7^th April spent the day meeting and reflecting on the marriage feast of Cana.  On 8^th April we gathered together around the altar to have the Thanks giving Eucharist celebrated. Hearts filled with gratitude to God we expressed our love and gratitude for the gift of Sr. Lucy Rose and the blessings she brings during her visit. Students welcomed Sr. Lucy Rose and Sr. Veronica Kamei with a huge round of applause and offering bouquet of flowers and garlanding.  Sr. Lucy Rose gave away the prize for the toppers of the Annual Examination of 2018- 2019.  Sr. Lucy Rose expressed her happiness by seeing their performance, their smartness and their capacity in speaking English. The function ended with a thanksgiving note, “The Pledge and National Anthem.  Later she met the staff members; she thanked them for their hard work   for the children’s education. In the evening community reflected the story Elijah and the widow at Zarephath and gained a great lesson for us to live as individuals and as a community. Finally she exhorted us to live our life as an educative presence.
