He explained in detail how it occurs. Following initial infection, a person may not notice any symptoms or may experience a brief period of influenza-like illness. Typically, this is followed by a prolonged period with no symptoms. As the infection progresses, it interferes more with the immune system, increasing the risk of common infections like tuberculosis, as well as other opportunistic infections, and tumours that rarely affect people who have working immune systems. These late symptoms of infection are referred to as AIDS. This stage is often also associated with weight loss.

After that He mentioned the reason of HIV. HIV infection is spread from person to person when human blood and sexual fluids (semen and vaginal secretions) are shared. HIV can be transmitted through:

  • Unprotected sexual intercourse (vaginal, anal or oral*)
  • Transfusion of contaminated blood
  • Sharing of contaminated needles used for injectable drugs
  • Sharing infected needles for tattoos and body piercing
  • Oral sex (the risk is small, though)
  • From HIV infected mother to her child during pregnancy, child birth or breast feeding

Then he showed a video on HIV AIDS. Over there everything the reason, effect of HIV AIDS was clearly mentioned. At the end he cautioned the students who are going work in hotel industry to be careful and aware.

12 of, NCC Cadets, of H.C.Auxilium Vasant Vihar got an opportunity to visit the Hindan Flying Station Ghaziabad on 3rd May 2017  for the flying lessons. It was a life changing experience for us to be in the Air Force Base. We were taken to the air traffic control tower where they explained to us how they manage the smooth take offs and landing of the aircrafts. Wing Commander Sameer Mehra introduced us to the various parts of the aircraft Zen Air 701, which was specially made for beginners like us. The highlight of the day was when each of us got a chance to fly an aircraft for 20 mins sitting in the cockpit while being assisted during take-off and landing. We forgot all the tiredness of getting up 4 in the morning with the picture-perfect view of Ghaziabad city from 1400 feet above the ground among the clouds. We also got a lifetime opportunity to see C-18 Hercules, which is one of the heaviest aircraft of Indian Air Force in Action right in front of us. Though we struggled to keep our feet on the ground, our spirits were in the air filled with joy at the sight of its take off. This experience in the Flying Station is something that will be cherished forever.

Career development is a gradual process. It needs planning, time, effort and perseverance.  But the concept of career development begins with self development. If a person cannot develop oneself, there is no question of his\her career developing at a desired velocity. Thus, as counselors are continue to expose different career paths, but the final choice is made by a certain person who aspires to reach his\her destination of life. Finally, the vote of thanks was extended to the facilitator by Elina Minj of Class X, the school captain.
