Laudato Si` in Action at Snehadhan Bareilly

Salesian Sisters Kolkata: On Tuesday, 01 July, the community welcomed the nine boarders with great joy and happiness after their summer vacation with saplings with love and affection.  It was demonstrated in a unique and eco-friendly way to foster environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility among them. This initiative has been implemented to encourage students to understand the importance of trees and environmental conservation. Finally, Sr. Kallirikumkalayil Anna, the director of the community, wished them all the best for their studies. Boarders thanked Sisters for the initiative and beautiful welcome. 

Responding to the cry of the earth: Waste Management

SNEHADAN, BAREILLY: The boarders at Snehadhan, Bareilly participated in a valuable eco-friendly activity focused on waste management, composting, and sustainable gardening practices. They learned about recycling and reusing natural materials by collecting organic waste and creating organic compost manure, promoting healthier soil and plant growth. This hands-on experience taught them valuable lessons about responsible waste management, sustainability, and environmental stewardship.
