The maiden visit of Sr. Rose Ezarath our new Provincial took place on the 17th to 19th November 2015 in St. Mary’s, Geyzing. There was lot of joy and excitement as we awaited the arrival of Sr. Rose to the beautiful land of Sikkim for the first time. On the 17th, she arrived at 5.30 p.m. accompanied by Sr. Annie Thevarkunnel, the Provincial Economer. The Sisters and the boarders gave a typical welcome to Sr. Rose with khadas and lively welcome song. We then proceeded to the chapel for a moment of prayer and invited Sr. Rose to light the lamp symbolizing the presence of Christ.
The Community conference and the good night talk given by Sr. Rose was inspiring, enriching and encouraging for all of us. She dealt with the Acts of GC XXIII and helped us to have a systematic and deep study of the document. Sr. Rose touched the lives of everyone in the community by her simple and sisterly presence all throughout.
