Foundation Day.

Six wise virgins approached the altar offering burning lamps to the Lord, sign and symbol of our long years of fidelity, some 20+ 30 + 40 + and 50 + in the vineyard of the Lord. The words of our founder Don Bosco rang through us inviting us to become saints, keeping ever faithful to our Constitutions and never ever regret having consecrated ourselves to God fully and giving ourselves totally to Him alone.

Fr. Peter Gomes sdb in his brief homily explained the significance of today’s feast – Our Lady of Snow and exhorted us to be like Mary-“sinless”, twice blessed, like her who heard the Word of God and kept it.
