On 14^th December 2018, Auxilium convent School, Gobra Celebrated Christmas with the Nursery children and their parents. Sr. Elizabeth Makil, Superior of Park Circus, was the Chief Guest of the day. The programme began at 9:30 a.m  by welcoming the  Chief Guest and parents with tilak and Welcome song followed by the lighting of the lamp. A folk dance was presented by one of our spoken English students. The Nursery children entertained their parents through rhymes and action songs. Sr. Elizabeth Makil gave the beautiful Christmas message that is Jesus came for us in the world and He loves us and He is always with us. The vote of thanks was given by Sr. Margaret Barla, highlighting that Jesus came to bring peace, Justice and love for us.  The Christmas message was given to the gathering through a beautiful power point programme. Finally children received  gifts from Santa clause.

The little ones of  Auxilium, Kalyani portrayed the joy and splendor of Christmas  in action and dance: Jingle Bells rock; Spirit of Christmas; I’m the happiest Christmas tree; Mary’s Boy child Jesus Christ; the Last Christmas. The tableau by classes II and III gave the message that Jesus is the way, the Truth and the Life. That he was born for you and me and to save us all from sin he came. The celebration concluded with the distribution of the Class IV Final Exam results of the Bengali medium and their prizes for the various activities for the year 2017 after which they all left happily to enjoy their winter break.

The teachers were then invited to a small tea party. A happy and exciting moment was the exchange of gifts with the respective Christmas friend, as they unwrapped them eagerly with much joy. Above all every one appreciated one another for their talents, gifts and various gestures of love, more especially for the gift of prayer during this Advent Season. The teachers offered the community a beautiful card prepared by Ms. Margaret D’Costa and a cake as a token of their love and gratitude. Finally all exchanged greetings for a happy Christmas and a Bright and prosperous New Year.

The Auxilians of Holy Child R.K. Puram celebrated the spirit of Christmas as happy time with joy and cheer on 21 December. A spectacular programme was put together by the students of classes Nursery to V with a blend of various programme like carols, dances.

The programme was concluded by a beautiful message from Sr. Asha Kerketta the Headmistress sharing the thoughts of Pope Francis that “CHRISTMAS IS  YOU”, ‘YOU’ means we, when we decide to be born again every time and change oneself. We are the decoration with the virtue of good habits like:

Light to illuminate others’ path with our generosity

Angel – singing the message of love

Star shows leading someone to right path

Music to conquer harmony in us

Cards showing kindness

Greeting means forgiving others and dinner tells sharing and last but not the least, Christmas night tells us to receive God in the silence of our heart.

On 17 December 2017 the Oratorians of Holy Child R.K.Puram celebrated the miracle of love. Children performed a programme consisting of songs and dances based on Christmas and the enactment of the birth of Jesus. Sr. Superior thanked all the children for their beautiful performance. Sr. Asha Kerketta in her message said, Christmas is the time of sharing, caring and forgiving and that Jesus came to this world as a human being to save us all. He loves us and so in return we too must love Him. The celebration came to an end with the distribution of gifts to the children.

On 17^th December, 101 Oratorians celebrated Christmas at the Sacred Heart Novitiate. Each group prepared a tablo of Christmas crib, sang a song and gave Christmas message of love, peace and joy. Christmas is not only about preparing sweets but the most essential thing is to prepare our hearts for the Babe of Bethlehem. Sr. Rosalia Tirkey, the animator of the house in her message said that Jesus loves us, so he came down to earth and became a man to save us. The children went home not only with sweets in their hands but also with the JOY of Christmas in their hearts.

On 21st December 2016, Mazzarello Convent School, Ranchi had the Christmas celebration. Students from classes IX to VI prepared carol singing, dance, skit and crib. Everything was well organized with the help of Sr. Aruna and Sr. Phulkaria. Skit conveyed the message that Jesus came in search of lost. Audience remained dumb founded while watching entire program. Soon after the programm students with their class teacher  had a moment of Christmas get together.
