Christmas celebration at Sacred Heart Novitiate

On 18th December 2016, the  Oratorians of three centers, Banglatoli, House Oratory and Sahera had  Christmas Crib competition. 97 children from all three oratories were part of the Christmas celebration. Each oratory presented a Christmas carol and a living Crib and tried to excel one another in creativity and conveying the message of peace and Joy. Sr. Rosalia T. the animator gave the Christmas message for the children, to welcome Christ Jesus, who came to save us. The Christmas gift for each child, along with the sweets  bun and cake cheered each one as they  went home happily to experience “Emmanuel – God with us”.

Christmas  celebration  at Auxilium Kurtumgarh

 On 23rd December the tuition children had their Christmas gathering in the parish ground.  The neighbourhood people and the youth of the parish joined for the celebration.  At the end of the programme Fr. Jugal Kishore Digal, the parish priest congratulated the children for the beautiful Christmas enactment.

DSC01282.JPGHe also appreciated Sr. Prisca Bara and Mr. Jyotirangan Nayak for having prepared the children so well.  The message of the celebration was to share love, peace  and joy of Baby Jesus to everyone we meet.  Finally Sr. Annie Theyattil offered a piece of cake and biscuits to all those who were present.

 

 

Christmas  Celebration at Auxilium Kalyani

On 19th December  a feeling of Christmas filled the air with angels, shepherds, sheep, kings and happy children in their best attire and colorful stars on the premises of Auxilium Kalyani. The program commenced with Sr. Geraldine welcoming the parents and greeted them a blessed and happy Christmas and a New Year filled with hope, peace, joy, love and prosperity. This was followed by a Christmas tableau: THE STAR enacted by the students of Classes 1 and 2 .Classes KG, Nursery and the toddlers were happy to sing and dance to the tune of “I’m just happy as a Christmas tree; Rocking along on a holiday and We wish you a Merry Christmas”.

 The Bengali medium students took us to Bethlehem through dances “O come let us adore him” ;  “Our Savior came for us” and “Let us pray, Jesus Christ was born for us”. The colorful stars that swayed in all directions reminded us of the “Star” we got to follow in our life’s journey to reach our heavenly abode. At the close of the program, sweets were distributed to the children.

Thereafter, the Final results of the Bengali medium were distributed with the first three rank holders announced and prizes given off.

Christmas Celebration at Auxilium Aspirantate

 

img_8917On 18th December 2016 at 3.00 p.m, the Auxilium Aspirantate community celebrated Christmas with the Oratorians, NCP children along with their parents, SHG, IGP Women and DB Tech students.  Each group presented their programme  consists of dance, song and action song. 220 participants were present for the celebration. The aspirants enacted the Christmas scene through a short skirt and intoned Christmas carols. Sr. Leelamma,the animator concluded a program with a Christmas message.  Each one was given a snack packet along with Christmas cake prepared by the women and sisters. Everyone returned home with the joy of Christmas.

Christmas Celebration at Auxilium Barasat

Sharing

 

This year Christmas had a new experience as Auxilium Barasat ventured to celebrate Christmas with people in periphery. On 18th December six teachers along with Sr. Basanti went to juvenile jail to share the joy of Christmas with 130 young boys. They sang Carrols and distributed cake, sweet and an orange. The boys had a smile on their faces and they felt that there are good people who think about them. The staff members assured the further reach out programmes in order to develop their talents and abilities as some of them are gifted with various talents.

t is supporting with rice and dal every week had Christmas get together on 23rd December at 2.30 pm. They gathered in the Mazzarello hall where aspirants performed program to convey the message of Christmas. It was the first time those elderly people came to celebrate Christmas and experience the peace and joy of the birth of Christ. They were given tea party and addition of things in their ration. At the end they expressed their gesture of gratitude by meeting all the sisters and wishing for Christmas.

The joy of Christmas were expressed in sharing with different groups; boarders, house & office staff and Carrol singing groups from different institutions. The Holy Mass at 10.45 in FC convent brought together all the religious institutions. This was another moment of being together to manifest the joy and happiness of Christmas. The well-lighted house and unique crib gave lots of newness in the celebration. The thought of Emmanuel, God with us lingered in the heart and mind of everyone on and after Christmas.

Christmas .

On 20 December 2015 was a memorable day for our Oratorians of Banglatoli and Sahera.  On the occasion of Christmas a live crib competition was organized. Children wished the sisters a very happy Christmas and happy New Year. Sr. Rosalia T. the animator in her Christmas message reminded the children to make a good confession in order to prepare a beautiful place in their hearts for Baby Jesus. Sr. Rosalia told the little ones to be loving and helpful in order to present the best gift for Baby Jesus. They went home after receiving a little Christmas gift and experiencing the joy of Christmas.

Christmas Celebration at Auxilium Convent Barasat School –  ‘Emmanuel’ God with us

 

Christmas 1On 21st December, Auxilium Convent School Barasat celebrated Christmas. The celebration started on 18th December with ‘Class room board preparation, star and crib making competitions. The main celebration was on 21st with lots of creativity and festivity. From class II-V had Carrol dance and middle and high school had Carrol singing competitions. Nursery, KG and Cl. I amused the gathering by their little thrilling steps.

Rev. Fr. Leo Jayaraj and Sr. Monica Kamai BS were the judges of the day. Another most surprising event was the arrival of the Santa Clause who came in an open van with gifts for the whole school.  Sr. Stella in her message told the students the story of a Christmas miracle. She invited the gathering to expect miracle while practicing hope in life and wished the whole school hope and peace of Christmas. Teachers too greeted the sisters a Very Happy Christmas.

Solidarity Day Mingled With Christmas Celebration

On Thursday, 17th December to inculcate the spirit of caring and sharing, students of St. Anthony’s School, Jaigaon, were encouraged to contribute for the solidarity day and they turned up with incredible response in material things as well as in monetary aid. Prior to the celebration, students of class XI were given the responsibility to survey the neighbourhood. They made extensive preparation to hold Christmas celebration for the underprivileged children.

On 17th December in the first hour, sports events were organized for around 300 of them. The students also entertained them with carols. It was followed by a tea party. Students then invited Sr. Lily, the superior, to distribute the packed gifts for each of them.

At the end of the day, the students of class XI although exhausted, they were delighted. They expressed their feelings of joy and satisfaction they experienced in reaching out to the less privileged ones of the society.
