On 22nd the inauguration of the 1st missionary expedition was celebrated in our community. The program began with the animated Morning Prayer followed by Mass. The day was marked by the enacting of that great event when our 1st Missionaries landed at Tanjore in Madras. We concluded it with a solemn Adoration where the Six Sisters with the lighted lamps accompanied Jesus from the

Missionary week

Mission - AspThe Postulants and Aspirants at Barasat had the “Missionary week” from 11 18 October 2015. The week celebration started with a solemn procession during which the Holy Bible and Globe was carried by our sisters. During these days the postulants and aspirants kept themselves busy, with various activities such as; giving goodnights on our missionary Sisters, composing songs, Panel on the Word of God, animated recreation, skits etc. They were happy to know the life of our missionary Sisters and want to follow their way of loving and serving Christ and His people.  On the last day they put up a beautiful play let on the life of our missionary sisters.

Since it is the month of the Holy Rosary and Mission we animated Rosary in the families as well as in the community praying for the Missionaries all over the world and for peace, unity and joy in the family. It helped us to love Mary our Mother more deeply, to have trust and confidence in her and to be enthusiastic missionaries wherever we are.
