Provincial Visit - Asp.

On Monday 19 January 2015 was a great day for all at Auxilium Promotional Center Barasat. Provincial Sr. Maria Pettayil came to the center with lots of blessings.  Sisters, aspirants, DBTech Trainers, students and the SHG women welcomed her. Superior Sr. Lily P. welcomed her with a garland and the aspirants with an action song followed by a prayer moment. She expressed her happiness to be with us and encouraged all of us to continue the good work that all of us are doing for the development of the society.

The next day at 2.30 p.m. the D.B.Tech students organized a short programme in her honor consisting of welcome speech, presentation of bouquet, songs, dance on Rabindra sangeet etc.

The SHG women, the Aspirants and the Sisters too greeted Mother Provincial and expressed their gratitude through songs and power point presentation. The programme ended with the meaningful words of appreciation and thanks from Provincial Sr. Maria.

Provincial Visit – Jumaikela

On 7th   December 2014, Provincial Sr. Maria Pettayil made a relevant and an enriching Provincial visit. She arrived around 6.30 pm together with Sr. Theresa Pulickathadathil, Sr. Rose Simon and Sr. Mukta Kerketta.  The sisters and the boarders welcomed them traditional way. The theme of her conferences was “A community with Don Bosco that evangelizes young people.”   It was based on different personages in the Bible. The moments of prayer and encounter helped us to grow deeper in our relationship with the Lord and to improve our community living and mission.  The staff, students and boarders were impressed by her message as she spoke to them in Hindi.  She appreciated the students for their expressions of gratitude.  Sr. Maria wished everyone a very happy Christmas filled with Love, Peace and Joy.

Provincial Visit -JUMAIKELA

JUMAIKELA: On 6th February, 2014 at 7.15 pm Provincial Sr. Maria Pettayil arrived at Vicuna Nivas for the Provincial Visit.  Sisters and the boarders welcomed her with music and lighted candles.  At the entrance of the house Sr. Rose Kureekattu, the animator and sisters gave her a traditional welcome and the boarders sang melodious welcome song and entered the house of the Lord to entrust the Provincial Visit.

On the following day she visited the Parish Community, staff and students. Students staged a short programme to felicitate her.  Sr.Maria appreciated their performance and encouraged them to do well in their studies.  She thanked the teachers and non- teaching staff for the services they render to the institutions and stressed the importance of Salesian presence among the students. Sisters were enriched by the personal meetings, the conferences, evening prayers and good nights.

She also visited two of our sister’s parents who are sick.  In the evening boarders expressed their gratitude through a lively programme with the message ‘A Home that evangelizes’. In her good night message she encouraged the boarders to make use of all the opportunities they have and invited them to offer themselves courageously heeding to His invitation: ‘Follow Me’.
