REPUBLIC DAY Celebration at H.C. Auxilium School, R.K. Puram: A Tribute to Unity, Courage, and Achievement

On 24th January 2025, H.C.Auxilium marked the 76th Republic Day with a meaningful and vibrant celebration. The program began with heartfelt prayers, seeking blessings for the nation, the armed forces, and future generations. Speeches in both English and Hindi emphasized the importance of Republic Day, its historical relevance, and the values enshrined in the Indian Constitution. Special dance performances showcased India’s cultural unity and paid tribute to the country’s brave soldiers. The highlight of the day was the H.C.A. parade, which featured yoga asanas, celebrated cultural diversity, and honoured the women achievers of India.

Sr. Mini congratulated the students and teachers on their efforts and encouraged young students to embrace the values of unity, integrity, and justice in their daily lives as responsible citizens. The event concluded with the National Anthem, resonating with the collective pride and patriotism of all present.

Celebrations at Auxilium Barasat

 

Feast of Laura Vicuna

On 23rd January 2017, Auxilium convent Barasat Celebrated the Feast of Blessed Laura Vicuna with much solemnity, the patron of all the boarders. The statue of Blessed Laura was well decorated in the chapel. The boarders animated the liturgy with fervour and enthusiasm. During his homely Rev. Fr. Joe Kallarughat S.J. beautifully brought out the intention why we honour the saints. He said mainly they are models, teachers and intercessors for us. He also exhorted the young people especially our boarders to imitate the heroic virtues of Laura and turn to her for intercession. After the Mass the aspirants and the sisters felicitated the boarders with a festal song and sweets.

On 26th January the boarders, aspirants and the sisters celebrated 68th Republic day of our country. The day began with well animated Morning Prayer and solemn Eucharistic celebration. After the Eucharistic cerebration everyone gathered infront of the school for the flag hoisting ceremony. The celebration included a speech, patriotic song and dance performed by the boarders. In his speech Rev. Fr. Leo emphasized the need to have good leaders in our country and to be aware of each ones responsibility. At the end of the programme sweets were distributed to everyone.

In the afternoon the boarders celebrated the twin feast of Don Bosco and Blessed Laura Vicuna. The programme comprised of sings songs, song enactment, skit and dances based on the lives of these saints. In her speech Rev. Sr. Stella, the superior congratulated them for their dedication in honouring their patron saint and recommended them to be diligent in putting into practice the virtues they have depicted.

In the evening the whole community together with our campus community had an hour of adoration as a token of our love and appreciation for each other. Since the aspirantate community soon will shift to the new house we bade them farewell. The day ended with an agape meal together and a short programme from the boarders. Sr. Leelamma the animator of Aspirantate thanked everyone and during the good night and highlighted the beauty of living together as a community and encouraged everyone to continue to live such simple and joyful life after the example of our founder St.John Bosco.

 

Republic Day Celebration at Auxilium New Chumta

The 68th Republic Day was celebrated with great Patriotic fervor and zeal by the whole staff and the students of Auxilium Convent School New Chumta on 26th January, 2017.

           The chief guest of the day Pradhan  Mr. Bhagawan Munda of the Patharghata Panchayat  was welcomed solemnly  by the slow march past of the scouts and guides. It was followed by  flag hoisting.

            The program started with march past   by the students of four houses, followed by the short prayer for the nation by Soshan Ekka of Class V A. The speech was delivered  by Nabina Hemrom of Class X stressing on love and respect for the mother land.  The other programme were patriotic songs in action, Patriotic dance and the skirts of the four houses on the themes “cleanliness and unity.”

          The chief guest appreciated the good performance of the children and encouraged them through his message to have the good will and to strive all together to build the better country where there be peace and harmony.  The auspicious event of that day came to the conclusion by the mass drill of the students.

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS & SPORTS DAY

The pre-Republic Day Celebrations and Sports Day were held in the school campus on 25th January, 2017, to commemorate the 68th Republic Day.

The Handing-Over Ceremony was held, where the outgoing school leaders handed over their responsibility to the upcoming leaders who took the pledge to carry out their duties well and to do to the best of their capabilities. The outgoing leaders also shared their experiences of being the captains of a respectable and honourable institution like ours. This was followed by Principal Sr. Celine Alexander addressing the gathering and inspiring the upcoming leaders to fulfill their responsibilities to the fullest of their potential and giving best wishes to the outgoing leaders for their future endeavours.

The Republic Day programme with a welcome speech by the school head girl Deepi Garg, which was followed by a Republic Day song by the students.

The first HC Auxilium NCC Contingent in their smart Air Wing uniform, followed by the Four Houses: Bosco, Mazzarello, Vicuna and Savio House contingents marched to the drum beats filling the audience with awe.

Then were the most awaited races that filled the audience with excitement and ebullience. The exciting races held were frog race, relay race, ball race and the most exhilarating tug of war among the others. The programme came to an end with the national anthem sung by the school cabinet.

The celebrations continued with the tuck shop, selling delicious ice cream with chocolate sauce topping, piping hot momos, cruchy patties and exciting lucky dip.

MAZZARELLO CONVENT SCHOOL, RANCHI: The 67th Republic Day of India was celebrated in all its solemnity and grandeur at Mazzarello School Ranchi on 26th January 2016.The students with great festivity and national pride entered the school premises.

The chief guest of the day Mrs.Suman Kujur , the joint secretary of the department of Agriculture of Jharkhand hoisted the flag. The choir group presented the patriotic song “Mera Mulk Mera Desh”.  The whole school joined the choir and the song reverberated in the surroundings. It was followed by a beautiful patriotic dance.  The chief guest Mrs.Suman Kujur urged the students to do their best and to feel proud to be Indians.  Students were awarded prizes for the various competitions conducted in the school throughout the year.

‘Vicuna Nivas’ Jumaikela: On 26th January 2016, the students and teachers of Janta Higher Secondary School Jumaikela celebrated Republic day. The programme commenced at 9.00 am.  Rev. Sr. Rose Kureekattu, the animator of the community was the chief guest of the day. March-past was led by the school captain followed by all the four houses. It was followed by a short programme consisted of patriotic song, dance, one act play, drill and yoga by different houses. Mr. Norbetus  Panna, in his address to the students spoke about  the meaning of freedom and exhorted them to acquire knowledge, to make their life more useful for others than just acquiring degree. The program ended with the distribution of the sweets. Jai Hind!

REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATION at HCA Vasant Vihar

 On 25th January 2016, Pre-Republic day celebrations were held in HC Auxilium School, Vasant Vihar, to commemorate the 67th Republic Day of our nation. The programme commenced with a welcome speech by the school cultural leader, followed by an inaugural song ‘VANDE MA TARAM ‘  which instilled the feelings of patriotism among the students.

 ‘KAVI SAMMELAN’ competition was held in the school for the first time ever and was applauded and appreciated by the Principal, teachers and the students alike. It was a huge success. Three participants each from the four houses, participated with enthusiasm and recited the poignant poems on patriotism.DSCF2921

Mrs. Neeraj Jain, the Hindi teacher presented a self composed Hindi poem, ‘Netaji Ki Topi’, a satire on today’s politicians and their politics, which was enjoyed by everyone present.

Then was the much awaited Fancy Dress Competition, where the students came dressed up as freedom fighters and recited their slogans.T his was followed by a speech and stage presentation on the Freedom Movement by the students of std VIII.

The first prize for Hindi Recital, ‘KAVI SAMMELAN’ was bagged by Savio House and for the fancy dress competition Bosco House was the winner.

The Day’s programme culminated with the National Anthem sung by the School Cabinet and the audience present.
