Worker’s Day Celebration

The International Worker’s Day was celebrated on 30th April,2019 at the campus of Auxilium Convent School, Barasat with great zeal and enthusiasm. The entire programme was organised by Teachers and Students of Social Service Club under the supervision of Rev. Sr. Principal Sr. Clara Saminathan.The day began with special prayers for all caregivers and work force of our institutions that make our lives easy.

After the lighting of the lamp, students expressed their gratitude and love through various performances, which include Inaugural song, Prayer Dance, Fusion Dance, Skit and Power point presentation. Students were overwhelmed to see their favourite Kalpana Masi’s heart touching interview in the power point presentation where she narrated her experience for 30 years in this institution. The Skit displayed the ceaseless struggles and obedience of every workers in this society in a humorous way. Students thanked them for their priceless contribution in their life since childhood.

Sr. Superior and Sr. Principal prayed for their healthy life, thanking the workers for their valuable and selfless services. Superior narrated a story based on dignity of labour relating it to the significance of the day, thereby forging a better understanding of the labour community among our students who must learn to respect and appreciate our efforts. Principal appreciated and made the students conscious of the hard toil of the workers throughout the year for keeping the campus safe, beautiful and clean.

All the workers were presented with refreshments and gifts as a mark of respect and token of love. The event came to an end with a short and sweet speech of Kalpana Masi ,where she, on behalf of all other workers, expressed gratitude to all Sisters for their love and blessed the students with good health and achievements in life.

 

Worker’s Day Celebration

 

Gratitude is the best form to express love and care. With this motto in mind on 30 April 2018, Worker’s Day was celebrated in the School Auditorium of Auxilium Convent School, Barasat to express our gratitude towards all our non-teaching staffs of the school. The whole programme was organised by the Social Service Club and the Chief Guest for the event was Rev. Sr. Stella, the Superior of the School. The students tried their best to keep everyone enthusiastic and energetic. The Prayer Service was accompanied with a Prayer Song and Lighting of the Lamp. A poetry was recited to show the importance of care-givers and the dignity of labour in the society. It was followed by a melodious Folk song which was cherished by the audience and made them clap to their beats. The innovative beat-boxing session was enjoyed by everyone. The programme ended with the golden words of wisdom by Rev. Sr. Superior and Rev. Sr. Principal. Last but not the least, a small token of love was handed over to extend our warmth and good wishes for them and their families.

Easter Blessing & Supportive Staff Day

 

On 28th April 2017, the Auxilians from primary to high school were asked to dedicate a few precious moments to invoke Blessing from the Risen Lord. The entire school was present to participate in this special occasion.

The blessing began with a short prayer by Fr. Hermil followed by a prayer recited by our school vice-captain Sreeja Chakraborty.

The hymns were sung by Angelina Gomes and Jaqueline Corraya of Class XII asking the Almighty father to pour out his choicest blessings upon our whole Auxilian family.

Fr. Hermil and Brother entered each and every classroom with the holy water and blessed our school. Then our school captain Olivia Dessa conveyed the vote of thanks. We dedicated ourselves to be “GOOD CHILDREN OF GOD”.

The same day we celebrated Labour’s Day with full aplomb. The function kicked off by Jessica Singh of Class XII A with a speech welcoming the workers and acknowledging their hard work. Prayer in Bengali recited by Neelashri Bhattacharjee of Class X marked the beginning of the programme followed by a Bhajan beautifully rendered by Anwesha Bagchi of Class XII C. Shristi Shukla and Shristi Chakraborty of Class X C put up a power point on labourers around the globe which was followed by a speech and a poem by Ashwini Singh of Class XI C. They highlighted the ceaseless efforts of the workers for the development of the nation and our school in particular. Prothoma and Shreya of class XI with their rhythmic steps magnificently showcased a dance for the didis, aunties and uncles. A melodious song was performed by Class X followed by the recitation by class VIII. Gift was presented to them. Prem Uncle gave short concluding speech. It was followed Sr. Principal’s inspirational and motivating speech. Jessica Singh gave vote of thanks to all the social service club mentors Ms. Ipsita, Ms. Ayesha, Ms. Sarjana, Ms. Sunita, Ms. Martina and Ms. Sudipta for their constant support and all the sisters, teachers and volunteers for their endeavor.

WORKER’S DAY

On 28th April, the students of Classes VI and VII of Auxilium Convent School, Barasat gathered in the auditorium for the worker’s Day Celebration conducted by the Social Service Club members.

 The event Chief guests for this auspoious occasion where the non-teaching staff and workers of our school. They were gathered with flowers and thus the event commenced at 8.30 a.m.  with the lightening of the lamp followed by an enlighting prayer song. A couple of prayers were chanted and soon after came a dance performance which added aolour and rejoice to the programme. The beat boxing session by two students of class XI upped the tempo, which was arrived on by a drama consisting of a collaboration of famous revolutionary poems and speeches accompanied by melodious background music, hosted by the literary club members. After the upbeat felt like a soothing breeze to the quiz and debate club caused the audience to rock their brains as they searched for answer. The programme concluded with the golden words of Sr. Superior, two inspirational videos which told us about the importance of workers in our day to day life.

Worker’s Day

IMG_9842The Aspirantate community celebrated the Feast of St. Joseph the Worker with special prayer for all the workers and labourers, who really toil hard to develop and sustain our society.

In the afternoon the aspirants organized a short programme for all the workers including those of the construction site of the school building. They performed a short skit on the dignity of labour and the diversity of job accomplished by people in our society along with a song and comic to make them happy and energetic. At the end of the programme they were given snacks and soft drinks and all departed with joy and gratitude to all the sisters, Postulants and aspirants for making the day more joyful.

 

 

WORKER’S DAY CELEBRATION

The workers day celebrations were held in the H.C. Auxilium school auditorium on May 6, 2016 to recognize the importance of all the workers in the school and thank them for all that they do. The celebrations began with Holy Mass presided over by Fr. Prasad George from St. Dominic’s Church. The Programme was followed by welcome speech, and a beautiful and graceful dance by the school students. Then was the recital of a thoughtful self composed poem by a teacher Mrs. Neeraj Jain and Tanika Bisht a student. The exciting game of musical chairs was conducted by the students in which all the workers participated sportingly and the winners of the game also got prizes.                   Addressing speech was given by Mr. Ramesh where he praised all the students for their efforts and gave his best wishes to them. The programme was concluded by the school vice head girl thanking all the workers for their efforts in making our school what it is today.

 

Multi Task Force honoured

The feast of St. Joseph, the worker, was celebrated to honour our multi task staff members of H.C. Auxilium Vasant Vihar. The day commenced with Holy Mass animated by the Teachers. During Mass the staff offered various tools used by them in their line of profession. After Mass, the school captain Diksha Katoch of the school addressed the gathering and expressed gratitude and thanks for all the help they render.

On behalf of the members of the supporting staff Mr. Ramesh gave a moving speech, telling the students how much the students mean to them and how proud they are to be part of the Auxilian family. The workers were felicitated with bouquets and gifts as a token of our appreciation and gratitude.

The social service club of Auxilium Convent School Barasat celebrated Workers’ Day amidst much fun and frolic on 2nd May 2015. They were given a traditional welcome in the school auditorium by the members of Social Service Club. The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp followed by a short prayer service praying for the wellbeing and prosperity of the workers. During the power point presentation students depicted the contribution of the workers towards the school. They performed a song, play and dance to honour them. The workers were provided with some refreshing savouries. The programme came to an end with the inspiring words of Sr. Stella the superior. The members of social service club were happy to get a chance to bring smile on the faces of our dear workers on the occasion of workers’ day.
