Sports Day cum inauguration of the silver jubilee of Auxilium Convent School Barasat

Sports day

The bright dawn of 4th December 2015 brought life and cheer in the hearts of the Auxilians of Barasat as it was observed as the Sports Day and the Inauguration of the Silver Jubilee celebration. The programme started at 8.30 am with the inaugural dance performed symbolically and meaningfully, specially honouring Auxilium with the formation of ACS 25. The March past and house drills were performed with much competitive spirits. The house drills were indeed a breath-taking performance by the students of different houses. Ms. Manmeet Nanda IAS,24 North Parganas, was the chief guest for the occasion. She appreciated the initiative of the school in forming the minds and hearts of the students. Indeed she challenged the students to be disciplined and responsible for the good and development of the nation. To concentrate more on the good that is being done in and by the country rather than the evil things projected through the Mass Media. India is rich in man power so make use of it to build better India, by contributing the best from ones side. She also encouraged them to develop their talents and be great in future; for tomorrows India depends on today’s students.

Sports day 3

Many students took part in various events held, both class and house events and won many prizes and medals. The non-participants too were very active in cheering their respective groups. The overall best house trophy was bagged by Yellow house. In this way the whole hearted cooperation and participation of students, and encouragement of sisters, teachers and parents brought to its end the sports day celebration 2015 and added sweet memory in the life of Auxilium Barasat.

  1. Music, Dances. Dramas, sports and outings were in the heart of Don Bosco our Father and Founder. Yes, great and marvelous are the works that the Lord has done in every child that went through Auxilium Barasat during these 24 years of it existence. Congratulations sisters, Teachers and students for the best performances. All the best for the preparation for the coming jubilee.May God bless you all.
